Elizabeth holds a B.A. in English from Kansas State University with a cum laude GPA and a concentration in American literature. She has been writing professionally since 2004. In the past, she has served as a managing editor and a head of marketing content. She has also served as an editor for the literary journal Baltimore Review. She currently focuses on technical writing for SaaS companies and primarily creates developer onboarding and API documentation.

In her personal work, Elizabeth focuses on the things that are close to her heart, the experiences she has had in life, and the beauty that can be found in the natural world. Her poetry has appeared in a literary anthology, and her first book was released in August 2020 called Halfway There: Lessons at Midlife.

Elizabeth is also passionate about the environment, is an avid organic gardener, and started watercolor painting in 2022. She loves to start her mornings in front of the windows with a mug of chai. Her family includes two rescue kitties, a wonderful husband, and a bunch of wildlife she feeds (sometimes by hand) in her backyard.
